Refund policy

Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since delivery of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Before shipping, all PCBs are tested to be in working order, all anodized cases are inspected for cosmetic flaws. Due to the nature of DIY keyboards, PCBs that have been soldered or assembled by the customer/end user have zero warranty and will not be refunded should they not operate properly.

Switches that have been opened and/or modified in any way, including but not limited to: application of lubricant, installation of switch films, cannot be returned or refunded. Switches are sold as-is and only guaranteed to function in an unmodified state, such as they are shipped from Prime Keyboards. Further, certain characteristics of switches the end user finds undesirable such as, but not limited to; scratchiness, ping, or wobble are considered subjective and therefore not a valid reason for the switches to be deemed defective and subject to refund. It's possible for the metal contact pins on switches to get bent during shipping. This is inevitable and unavoidable. Bent Switch pins are not cause for refund or replacement as the pins can simply be bent back into place. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be UNUSED and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Lubricants are not eligible for returns or refunds under any circumstances.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Refund Fee
Refund requests, order cancellations, and returns will be issued (if approved) minus 3% for domestic and 4.5% for international orders. Transaction processors do not refund these transaction fees to the seller and therefore cannot be returned to the customer. This does not apply to defective products.

Group Buys
Refunds can only be issued before the end date of a group buy. Once the group buy concludes, all sales are final and refunds/order cancellations are not possible.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@primekb.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Items marked as any of the following: Sale, On Sale, Clearance, or otherwise listed at less than the original price are not eligible for returns/refunds. 

The customer is responsible for paying shipping costs for returning unwanted items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping paid when placing the order will be deducted from your refund.
